06 Jan How to find yourself leading through the diary.
You may already have kept a regular journal in your teenage years to let go of your thoughts, worries, and fears and get them out of your head. Maybe you did it out of sheer desperation back then, because you couldn't or didn't want to confide in anyone. Do you still remember how you felt about it?
If you have never written down your thoughts before, I can highly recommend that you start now. Because through the process of "putting them on paper", you can write your thoughts and ideas from your soul for the first time, illustrate and in consequence organize them better.
It is not for nothing that one speaks of "writing it off your soul", because through the process of writing down things a kind of self-therapy invites you to come to terms with and reflect on yourself. This helps you to process topics yourself up to a certain point. However, this process requires that you continually write down your views and experiences, rethink and let a routine develop.
From my own experience, I can recommend the following journal to start with (Link To Journal). This is especially helpful for newcomers who are dealing with the topic for the first time, as it contains ready-made questions and provides good food for thought.
If you've already familiar with the topic, you may pick a diary of your choice. The best thing to do is to go to the stationery or bookstore you trust and support your local shop ;). Put it directly on your bedside table so that you can write down your thoughts in the morning right after waking up (so you may still be able to capture your dreams) or in the evening before going to sleep (to reflect the day).
